It is with great sadness that the family of George Kneteman announce his passing at the age of 91. George will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 66 years, Jaqueline. Sons Bruce (Pauline), Jeff (Barb), Len (Alyson), Orey (Carol), daughters Bonnie, Gaylayne (Larry), Jayne (Tim), 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and brother Robert (Ramona) Kneteman.
George was predeceased by his parents August and Mathilda Kneteman, his brother Helmut, sister in law Emma, sister Lisa Patton, brother in law Gordon, son in law Dwight McLeod and niece Jackie Schleppe.
George was born in Wardenburg, Germany and came to Canada at the age of 1. His family settled in Edson, AB, where he lived for his entire life. George was a family man who loved fishing and hunting. He was an avid gardener. He was very active in the community and was a member of the Edson Volunteer Fire Department for many years.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the high quality of care given to George by Dr. Rudi Gous and the staff and nurses in the acute care unit of the Edson Hospital. Thank you for the staff at home care for their years of service.
