Horace Bradburn Shepherd

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Horace Shepherd on Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Horace is survived by his wife Agnes, son Dwayne, brother Bill (Grace) Shepherd, and his surrogate daughter, Sharon McLean and her children Jyllis McLean, Cody Brix, Kathryn Brix and two great surrogate grandchildren Drew Gilge and Camdyn McLean-Wurtz along with many nephews, nieces and cousins.

            Horace was born in Edson, AB to Beatrice and Leonard Shepherd. He met Agnes MacDougall in 1960 and they married May 5, 1962. He was a trucker and a farmer all of his life.

            He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed visiting with friends and family and puttering around on the farm. He was a very caring and friendly man who was always willing to lend a hand to anybody needing help. He will be truly missed.

            Our thanks to Dr. White and the staff of the Edson Hospital for the excellent care they gave him in his time of need.

            A funeral will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Bethel Pentecostal Church in Edson with Carl Tews officiating.
